My dream is to become a real estate investor and at least be in the top 10 in my country. Then my plan is to work hard to become one of the biggest real estate investors in West Africa.

Before I came to VELI, I saw my life as “not easy” as I was working in real estate, selling houses, finding homes for other people and earning on a commission basis. I didn’t see an easy future on my field. There are a lot f people, some with more knowledge than me and I was competing with 1.6 million people.

I am from a family of 8 including my mom. My dad passed away when I was 9 years old. My mom also passed away and I have 4 brother and 3 sisters. I am married and I have 2 beautiful daughters, whom I love so much as well as my wife.

I feel like I have to help my immediate family so they can have a better lifestyle. I want to specially help my niece and my nephews in their education. This is my major priority and this is the reason why I want to achieve my dream in order to help them. I want to see my family succeed, to provide them the best education and to see them grow on the gospel of Jesus Christ.

I’ve been on the institute for 5 months and so far I’ve learned a lot. I have read 10 books, which have taught me a lot of lessons about leadership and entrepreneurship.

Compare to what I knew before I can see that without VELI’s education, it will be very difficult for me to achieve my dreams. An example I learned from the book E-myth is that I have to be 3 in 1 to become a successful businessperson. I have to be a technician, a manager and an entrepreneur.

VELI leadership course taught me that I have to take control of myself and that I have to believe that you can do anything you set your mind to do.

I’ve developed a habit of not working on too many things at the same time, instead I now focus on one thing at the time and I now have a clear vision of where my life is going. I realized now that if I continue this way, I can become who I want to become.

I can see that VELI’s education will help me to achieve my dreams after my graduation. At the end of the course, I know I’ll have all the managing skills that I need for my field and I can see a brighter future for myself, my family and all the people around me.

After my graduation I know that I have to help the people in my community.

I want to make an impact on them, pass along the knowledge so they can also become who they want to become. This is my ultimate goal.

I can now see there is a bright future at the end of the tunnel.

I’ve also learned how to work in team, which I’m still learning and I know that I will be able to develop the skills to work with business associates and investors and all the people who want to invest in Africa.
